I'm Charles — a qualified IT technician based in the Redlands. I hold a Diploma of IT in Advanced Networking from TAFE Queensland and work as a Level 1 technician supporting schools across Brisbane.

I started Charles IT because I saw how many people in our community just need someone patient, friendly, and local to help with their tech. No call centres, no confusing jargon — just honest help from someone who genuinely enjoys making technology easier for people.

How much does a visit cost?
A quick fix (up to 30 minutes) is $55, a standard visit (up to 1 hour) is $85, and an extended session (up to 2 hours) is $120. There's no call-out fee for anyone in the Redlands area. I'll always let you know upfront if I think a job will take longer.
What areas do you cover?
I service Redland Bay, Cleveland, Victoria Point, Capalaba, Wellington Point, Thornlands, and surrounding suburbs. If you're not sure whether you're in range, just give me a call and I'll let you know.
Do I need to know anything technical before you arrive?
Not at all! Just describe the problem in your own words — that's all I need. I'll figure out the rest when I get there.
How quickly can you come out?
Most weeks I can get to you within 2–3 days. I'm available Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 4 PM. For urgent issues, call me directly and I'll do my best to fit you in sooner.
What if the problem isn't fixed in one visit?
If I need to come back to finish the job, I won't charge you a second call-out. If parts or software need to be ordered, I'll discuss costs with you upfront before proceeding.
How do I pay?
I accept cash, bank transfer, PayID, or tap-to-pay on my EFTPOS reader — whatever's easiest for you. Payment is taken after the visit, and you'll receive a simple invoice by text or email.
